§ 5-3-9 VIOLATION; PENALTY.
   It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision of this chapter or to fail to comply with any of the requirements of this chapter. Any person performing any act prohibited or declared to be unlawful by this chapter or failing to perform an act required by or otherwise made mandatory by this chapter shall be punished as provided in § 1-4-1 of this code. Any such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which a violation of any provision of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted by such person and shall be punished accordingly. In addition to penalties provided in this section, any condition caused or permitted to exist in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a public nuisance, and may be by this town similarly abated as such, and each day that such condition continues shall be regarded as a new and separate offense.
