The license fees collected pursuant to this chapter shall be special revenues which shall be credited to a special revenue fund of the town. It shall be used for the payment of reasonable costs incurred in connection with the marketing and promotion of the town’s principal industry, tourism, and for the payment of expenses related to such marketing and promotion, and to promote and market activities and events beneficial to the economic health and vitality of the community. The town shall be entitled to receive 5% of the license fees collected hereunder into the General Fund for administration of the business license fee.
