It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain, operate, conduct or engage in any business activity on premises within the town without having first obtained a business license pursuant to this chapter. A business license shall be obtained for each place of business within the town regardless of whether the business conducted therein is a separate business or a branch, division or agency of a licensed business situated at another location in the town.
