The purpose of this chapter is to establish criteria and an appropriate review process whereby the Planning and Environmental Commission may grant exemptions from the definition of the term “subdivision” for properties that are determined to fall outside the purpose, purview and intent of Chapters 3 and 4 of this title. This process is intended to allow for the platting of property where no additional parcels are created and conformance with applicable provisions of this code has been demonstrated.
