§ 12-16-8 PERMIT APPROVAL AND EFFECT.
   Approval of a conditional use permit, or an amendment to an existing conditional use permit, shall lapse and become void if a building permit is not obtained and construction not commenced and diligently pursued toward completion or the use for which the approval has been granted has not commenced within two years from when the approval becomes final. Approval of a conditional use permit shall also lapse and become void if the use for which the approval has been granted is discontinued for a period of two years, regardless of any intent to resume operation of the use.
