141.09 IMPOUND FACILITY.
   (a)   All vehicles impounded by the Police Department pursuant to the Codified Ordinances, the Ohio Revised Code, or other applicable federal, State or local law, shall be taken to a Village impound facility designated by the Chief of Police.
   (b)   Before the owner of a motor vehicle which has been impounded and ordered into storage at the Village impound lot may reclaim the vehicle, and in addition to compliance with all other applicable State, federal and local laws which set conditions per such reclamation, the owner must pay the towing and storage charges set forth in subsections (c) and (d) hereof.
   (c)   The owner of a motor vehicle that is impounded by the Police Department shall reimburse the Village for all actual expenses or charges incurred in the removal and/or towing of the vehicle, in an amount not to exceed one hundred sixty-five dollars ($165.00), for a vehicle which has a laden gross vehicle weight in excess of 15,000 pounds and which is a truck, bus or a combination of a commercial tractor and trailer or semitrailer or in an amount not to exceed one hundred sixty-five dollars ($165.00) for any other motor vehicle.
   (d)   The owner of a motor vehicle that is impounded by the Police Department and stored at the Village impound lot shall pay the Village a storage fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per twenty-four hour period for a vehicle which has a laden gross vehicle weight in excess of 15,000 pounds and which is a truck, bus, or a combination of a commercial tractor and trailer or semitrailer. Such owner shall pay the Village a storage fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) per twenty-four hour period for any other motor vehicle.
