§ 158.019 PUBLIC PROPERTY AND GARAGE SALE SIGNS.
   (A)   No sign shall be located on or allowed to extend over public property unless expressly approved by the City Council, except for signs identifying a residential garage sale.
   (B)   Garage sale signs shall not be placed on any public property other than street rights-of-way; shall be allowed for a duration of not more than three consecutive days, not more than 3 three-day periods in any calendar year, and only during the hours of 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day; shall not be attached to any sign, pole or utility appurtenance, or fire hydrant; shall not exceed five square feet in area, a dimension of two and one-half feet, or a height of two and one-half; obstruct any vision clearance triangle or walk; or create a traffic or pedestrian hazard; and shall not exceed three in number including not more than two wayfinding signs.
