A bond shall be executed to the city with good and sufficient sureties as set by resolution approved by the City Council, conditioned for the payment of any damage for which the city may be liable in consequence of the use of any streets or alleys, or public property in the removal of the building, and the payment of any penalty that may be incurred by the permit holder, his or her agents or employees for violation of any provisions of this subchapter.
