§ 116.05 EXCESSIVE FALSE ALARMS.
   (A)   The alarm user shall pay the city, within 45 days of invoice, for any false alarms generated by the alarm user’s alarm system. The false alarm fee shall be set by resolution, as approved by City Council. An alarm user assessed a false alarm fee may appeal to the appropriate Chief in writing.
   (B)   The alarm user shall file a written appeal to the appropriate Chief by setting forth the reasons for the appeal within ten days after receipt of the false alarm fee notice. The Chief will review relevant items, including conditions of nature, for the date and time of the occurrence of the false alarm.
   (C)   The Chief shall notify the alarm user of the appeal decision within five business days.
