(A) A custom-built mailbox installed prior to the adoption of this chapter, December 27, 2022, could be reinstalled if an application for approval of a custom-built mailbox is submitted to the city for review and is approved. A custom-built mailbox must conform to the rules set forth in the application.
(B) The property owner shall be responsible for the maintenance of the custom-built mailbox as set in § 99.105. If the mailbox is damaged beyond use and the property owner performs the replacement, the property owner must apply for a custom-built mailbox application with the city and receive approval prior to making any needed repairs.
