(A) The Mayor shall recommend for appointment by the Council the members of the following boards and commissions:
(Iowa Code § 372.4)
(1) Board of Adjustment;
(2) Board of Appeals;
(3) Civil Rights Commission;
(4) Civil Service Commission;
(5) Library Board of Trustees;
(6) Parks and Recreation Commission;
(7) Planning and Zoning Commission;
(8) Tree Board; and
(9) Water Utility Board of Trustees.
(B) The Mayor shall appoint the Mayor Pro Tem.
