ORDINANCE NO. 2019-04

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTS TO THE 2015 MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE CITY OF URBANDALE, STATE OF IOWA

WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed supplements through January 31, 2019 to the City of Urbandale 2015 Municipal Code, which supplements contain all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the June 9, 2015 adoption of the City of Urbandale 2015 Municipal Code; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the municipality and for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the municipality, that this ordinance take effect upon adoption.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF URBANDALE, IOWA:

Section 1.   That the supplements through January 31, 2019, to the 2015 Municipal Code of the City of Urbandale, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, be and the same are hereby adopted by reference as if set out in their entirety.

Section 2.   Such supplements shall be deemed published as of the day of their adoption and approval by the Urbandale City Council.

Section 3.   This ordinance is declared necessary for the preservation of the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the people of the City of Urbandale and shall take effect at the earliest date provided by law.
