§ 33.20 CHIEF OF POLICE.

The Chief of Police shall serve as City Marshal and shall be appointed by the City Manager and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. Whenever the Chief of Police is out of the city or unable to act on account of sickness or for any other reason, the City Manager has the power to name an Acting Chief of Police.
