The applicable provisions of this Traffic Code shall be applied to the operation of snowmobiles except that snowmobiles shall not be operated as follows:
(a) On any private property or in any nursery or planting area without the permission fo the owner or other person having the right to possession of the property;
(b) On any land or waters controlled by the City or in any cemetery or any established public park or recreation area unless specifically designated for the operation of snowmobiles by signs being posted permitting such operation;
(c) On the tracks or right of way of any operating railroad within the City limits;
(d) While transporting any firearm, bow or other implement for hunting that is not unloaded and securely encased;
(e) With more than one passenger;
(f) At a rate of speed greater than is reasonable and proper, having due regard for conditions then existing, and in no event in excess of twenty-five miles per hour notwithstanding posted speed limits;
(g) On any portion of the City streets known as Sandusky Avenue, Wyandot Avenue, Hazel Street, Eighth Street, North Warpole Street and Johnson Street except that snowmobiles shall be allowed access in and out of the City on North Sandusky Avenue beginning at the intersection of North Sandusky Avenue and North Fifth Street and on North Warpole Street (St. Route 199) beginning at the intersection of Warpole Street and Houpt Drive.
(h) Must wear a protective helmet on his head, and if carrying a passenger, they must also wear such protective helmet. The helmet, safety glasses or other protective eye device shall conform with regulations prescribed and promulgated by the Ohio Director of Highway Safety.
