151.05 OPERATOR LICENSE RECORDS CHECKS.
   (a)   Applicants for employment with the City not covered by a collective bargaining agreement whose duties will regularly involve driving a City owned vehicle will not be hired by the City of Upper Sandusky if any of the following apply:
      (1)   The applicant’s license is currently suspended or canceled; or
      (2)   The applicant has an OVI or reckless operation conviction within a three year period; or
      (3)   The applicant has more than eight points on their Operator License Records within the past two year period.
   (b)   Current employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement that have been approved to drive a City of Upper Sandusky vehicle must notify their immediate supervisor of moving violations within three (3) working days of the conviction. Immediate notice to the immediate supervisor is required if an employee’s operator license is suspended.
   (c)   Any employee not covered by a collective bargaining agreement that has accumulated eight (8) points on their operator’s license within the past two (2) year period will receive a written warning stating that additional points may result in the loss of driving privileges.
   (d)   Loss of driving privileges may result in employee discipline, demotion, re- assignment of job duties, or termination of employment.
   (e)   Operator License Record Checks will be required on an annual basis for all employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement whose job duties involve regularly driving City owned vehicles.
