953.02 HARRISON SMITH PARK POND AND DUCK POND PARK POND FISHING.
   (a)   The fishing rights and privileges at the Harrison Smith Park Pond and Duck Pond Park pond shall be extended to all children ages 17 and under and adults ages 60 and over.
   (b)   The Park Board shall have authority to make such rules and regulations not inconsistent with this chapter, for the purpose of carrying out the intent and purpose of this chapter and this section. Said Park Board shall cause appropriate signs to be erected in conspicuous places warning all persons ages 18 and over and ages 59 and under that they are prohibited from fishing in said waters.
   (c)   It shall be unlawful for any person 18 years of age and over and 59 years of age and under to fish in said restricted pond and any person violating the provisions of this chapter, upon conviction, shall be fined for the first offense, not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifteen dollars ($15.00) and for a second offense, not less than fifteen dollars ($15.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Any such violation shall be a minor misdemeanor.
