(a) Effective May 1, 2020, all residents of the municipality using the municipal sewerage system or where the municipal system is available within three hundred (300) feet of said customer, shall pay sewage service at a rate of $11.50 per 1,000 gallons to be billed and collected on a monthly basis, with a minimum charge of $23.00 per month.
(b) Effective May 1, 2021, all residents of the municipality using the municipal sewerage system or where the municipal system is available within three hundred (300) feet of said customer, shall pay sewage service at a rate of $12.50 per 1,000 gallons to be billed and collected on a monthly basis, with a minimum charge of $25.00 per month.
(c) Effective May 1, 2022, all residents of the municipality using the municipal sewerage system or where the municipal system is available within three hundred (300) feet of said customer, shall pay sewage service at a rate of $13.50 per 1,000 gallons to be billed and collected on a monthly basis, with a minimum charge of $27.00 per month.
(d) Effective May 1, 2023, all residents of the municipality using the municipal sewerage system or where the municipal system is available within three hundred (300) feet of said customer, shall pay sewage service at a rate of $14.50 per 1,000 gallons to be billed and collected on a monthly basis, with a minimum charge of $29.00 per month.
(e) Except in the event that a residential customer owns and operates their own sewage system and does not use the municipal sewerage system, said customer shall maintain their own septic tank. If the City sewer is available, the full sewer rate will be charged. In the event a customer should use a sewer without being a water customer, the sewerage rental fee shall be negotiated between the customer and the Service Committee of the City.
(f) The Municipality shall have the right, in the event of nonpayment as foresaid, to discontinue service to such premises of water supplied by the Municipality's waterworks system until such delinquent sewer charges have been fully paid.
