§ 31.60 FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES.
   (A)   The Board of Supervisors hereby grants authorization to the members of the Upper Milford Western District Fire Company No. 1 and the members of the Vera Cruz Citizen’s Fire Company to engage in fundraising activities such as fairs, carnivals, banquets, breakfasts, barbeques and other similar fundraising activities as the fire company officers deem necessary for the efficient operation of each fire company.
   (B)   Authorization is also granted for each fire company and the special fire police to participate in mutual aid, parades, firemen’s training schools, regular meetings, repairs to the building, work projects on the building, and civic functions of the type customarily attended by and participated in by volunteer fire companies and their members.
   (C)   Any claims for workmen’s compensation benefits made for injuries or damages sustained as a result of those activities expressly authorized are to be reviewed by the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau for payment under the Workmen’s Compensation Act as they direct.
