(A) The township is a second class township located in Old Zionsville, Pennsylvania.
(B) On August 2, 1995, the Board of Supervisors (hereinafter “Board”) created an agricultural security area within the township.
(C) On February 5, 2004, the Board adopted the Upper Milford Township Park, Recreation, Open Space, and Environmental Plan.
(D) On August 21, 2005, the Board adopted the Southwestern Lehigh County Comprehensive Plan.
(E) All of the foregoing provide, in part, for the preservation of open space and undeveloped land within the township.
(F) The Board is desires of forming a committee to recommend plans, policies and programs for the promotion and retention of open space and land preservation within the township.
