§ 110.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS.
   No peddler, solicitor or canvasser as defined in § 110.02 shall engage in the business of peddling, soliciting or canvassing within the limits of the township without first obtaining a license therefor in compliance with the provisions of this chapter, except:
   (A)   Farmers selling their own produce;
   (B)   The sale of goods, wares or merchandise donated by the owners thereof, the proceeds whereof are to be applied to any charitable or philanthropic purpose;
   (C)   The sale of goods, wares or merchandise by churches, scouting organizations, fire companies, ambulance and police corps, provided that the proceeds thereof are to be applied to any charitable or philanthropic purpose;
   (D)   Salespersons, manufacturers’ representatives and agents and the like selling goods to retail, wholesale, professional or industrial establishments; and
   (E)   Any manufacturer or producer in the sale of bread and bakery products, meat and meat products, poultry and poultry products or milk and milk products.
