As used in this resolution, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MEMBER—Each police officer who is employed by the township and subject to the provisions of civil service, on the effective date of this pension plan. “Member” also means each police officer who is hired by the township after the effective date of this pension plan.
TERMINATED MEMBERS—Any former police officer who has retired or terminated his employment with the township before the effective date of this pension plan.
