The township hereby continues its municipal pension plan and municipal pension fund for the benefit of police officers employed by the township who shall receive honorable discharge by reason of age and service, or disability. The pension plan shall be known as the “Upper Dublin Township Police Pension Plan.” The pension fund shall be known as the “Upper Dublin Township Police Pension Fund” (“pension fund”). The pension plan and pension fund are established pursuant to Act 600.
