A. At least thirty (30) days prior to the implementation of the mandatory recycling program, the township shall conduct a public information and education program for the benefit of all residents within the township concerning the recycling program. Such program shall be conducted in a manner determined by the Township Manager and Director of Public Works, in accordance with Section 1501 of Act 101 of 1988.

B. Six (6) months following the implementation of the mandatory recycling program and once every six (6) months after that time, the township shall conduct an information and education program concerning the recycling program. Such program may be conducted by mail to all residences and commercial and institutional establishments by advertisement or by public meeting as determined by the Township Manager and the Director of Public Works.
