In accordance with the provisions of Act No. 101 of 1988, the Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act,

the township hereby requires and mandates that all aluminum cans, glass and newspapers shall be separated from other waste for separate collection for purposes of recycling. All residents shall also separate leaf waste from all other waste collected by the township for disposal by composting.
