§ 198-7.   Violations and penalties.

   A.   Any person who shall violate or fail to refuse to comply with any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding before a District Justice of the Township of Upper Dublin, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, plus costs of prosecution.
   B.   For the first offense under this chapter, any person can avoid prosecution by reporting to the police station within 72 hours after receipt of such notice and paying the sum of $25; for a second offense, such prosecution may be avoided by reporting to the police station within 72 hours after receipt of such notice and by paying the sum of $50; for a third offense, such prosecution may be avoided by reporting to the police station within 72 hours after receipt of such notice and by paying the sum of $100; for a fourth and subsequent offenses, the owner shall be prosecuted in accordance with Subsection A above.
   C.   A new and separate offense shall be deemed to have been committed for each day that any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall continue to exist.
