A. Only chopped or whole leaves, grass clippings and green kitchen waste are permitted in a compost pile. Animal products of any type or classification are not permitted in a compost pile. [Amended 3-12-2013 by Ord. No. 13-1270; 3-11-2014 by Ord. No. 14-1285]
B. Compost piles must be located in the side or rear yard with the entire contents of the pile being at least five feet off any property line and not visible from any public right-of-way.
C. Compost piles should be located in a level, shady area out of direct sunlight that will not develop puddles or be affected by drainage after rainfall.
