§ 152-2.   Modification of standards.

   A.   Changes from the BOCA National Mechanical Code, Eighth Edition, 1993, to the Mechanical Code of the Township of Upper Dublin, are as follows:
      (1)   Section M-101.1, insert: “the Township of Upper Dublin” for Name of Jurisdiction.
      (2)   Section M-113.2, insert: “The currently adopted fee schedule for the Township of Upper Dublin as per Chapter 110, Fees.”
      (3)   Section M-113.3, insert: “The currently adopted fee schedule for the Township of Upper Dublin as per Chapter 110, Fees.”
      (4)   Section M-116.4, for what a person shall be guilty of for a violation, insert: “a summary offense, punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.”
      (5)   Section M-117.2, for what a person shall be liable for unlawful continuance of work, insert: “a fine of not more than $1,000.”
      (6)   Section 121.0, delete all and add the following:
         SECTION 121.0 MEANS OF APPEAL
         121.1 An appeal from any decision of the Building Code Official may be taken pursuant to the Uniform Construction Code as specified by Article III, Uniform Construction Code, of Chapter 73, Building Construction — Uniform Construction Code.
      (7)   Section 3408.2, insert: August 15, 1994.
   B.   The portions of the Mechanical Code of the Township of Upper Dublin which equal or exceed the requirements of the Pennsylvania Construction Code Act and the Uniform Construction Code as adopted under Chapter 73 shall continue in full force and effect until such time as such provisions fail to equal or exceed the minimum requirements adopted under Chapter 73.
