No person is permitted to maintain, keep or possess within the Township of Upper Dublin any of the following animals, which classifications shall be broadly construed:
A. All poisonous animals, including rear-fang snakes
B. Apes, including Chimpanzees (Pan); Gibbons (Hylobates); Gorillas (Gorilla); Orangutans (Pongo); and Siamangs (Symphalangus).
C. Baboons (Papio, Mandrillus).
D. Bears (Ursidae).
E. Bison (Bison bison).
F. Cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus).
G. Crocodilians (Crocodilia), 30 inches in length or more.
H. Constrictor snakes six feet in length or more.
I. Coyotes (Canis latrans).
J. Deer (Cervidae). Includes all members of the deer family; for example, white-tailed deer, elk, antelope, moose.
K. Elephants (Elephas and Loxodonta).
L. Gamecocks, i.e., fighting birds.
M. Hippopotami (Hippopotamidae).
N. Hyenas (Hyaenidae).
O. Jaguars (Felis onca).
P. Leopards (Felis pardus).
Q. Lions (Fells leo).
R. Lynxes (Lynx).
S. Monkeys, old world (Cercopithecidae).
T. Ostriches (Struthio).
U. Piranha fish (Characidae).
V. Pumas (Felis concolor); also known as cougars, mountain lions and panthers.
W. Raccoons (Procyon).
X. Rhinoceroses (Rhinocerotidae).
Y. Sharks (Class Chondrichthyes).
Z. Snow leopards (Felis uncia). AA. Swine (Suidae).
BB. Tigers (Fells tigris).
CC. Wolves (Canis lupus).
