Whoever violates any provision of this Commercial Structures Maintenance Code or any rule or regulation promulgated thereunder, or fails to comply therewith or with any written notice or written order issued thereunder, and whoever interferes with, obstructs or hinders the Building Commissioner or his or her authorized representative or other City department head or his or her authorized representative while attempting to make a lawfully authorized inspection, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
