All gates facing public streets or thoroughfares or roadways and:
(a) Located forward of the rear foundation line of the main residential structure shall be wooden or ornamental iron, or equally decorative as otherwise approved by the City Architect.

(b) Located at the rear foundation line of the main residential structure shall be wooden or ornamental iron or clad in dark vinyl or equally decorative as approved by the City Architect.
