892.05 CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION.
   (a)   Any person conducting or operating any place for entrance to which an admission charge is made shall, on a form prescribed by the Director of Finance, make application to and procure from the Director a certificate of registration, the fee for which shall be $1.00. The certificate shall continue valid until the thirty-first day of December of the year in which the same is issued. The certificate of registration, or duplicate original copies thereof to be issued by the Director without additional charge, shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each ticket or box office where tickets of admission are sold.

   (b)   When a place is located partly within and partly without the City and the municipality in which the remainder of the place is located has levied a similar tax, and is collecting the tax hereby levied as the agent of this City, Council may consent to the issuance by such municipality of the certificate of registration required by this section. Such certificate shall be issued and posted as though such place were located entirely within this City; provided, however, that only one certificate shall be required of the owners or operators of such place.
   (c)   In the instance of the Fairmount Theater, operated by The Fairmount Amusement Company, the consent of this City is hereby given to the issuance by the City of Shaker Heights, in accordance with the terms of this chapter, of the certificate of registration required by this section.
