814.20 TERM OF THE FRANCHISE.

(a) A franchise granted hereunder shall be for a term established in the franchise agreement, commencing on the effective date of an ordinance or resolution authorizing the franchise.

(b) A franchise granted hereunder may be renewed upon application by the grantee pursuant to the provisions of applicable state and federal law and of Sections 814.16 through 814.54.
