In the interpretation of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
(a) "Advisory Board" means the Building Committee of Council appointed by the Mayor.
(b) "Chart" means the Ringlemann Smoke Chart as published and used by the United States Bureau of Mines.
(c) "Corporation" means all bodies corporate, joint stock companies or associations, domestic and foreign, their lessees, assignees, trustees, receivers and other successors in interest having any of the powers or privileges of corporations not possessed by individuals, partnerships or unincorporated associations.
(d) "Persons" means all individuals, partners or associations other than corporations.
(e) "Stack" means chimneys, smoke stacks, structures and openings of any kind whatsoever, capable of emitting smoke.
