(a) No person shall expectorate or spit in or upon any sidewalk or other public area, or any business area frequented by the public, or in or upon any part of any public vehicle carrying passengers for hire, or in or upon any part of any public building under control of the City, County or State or the Board of Education.

(b) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
