648.16 CURFEW.
   (a)   No person under the age of 12 shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places, between the hours of official sunset and 6:00 a.m. the following day.
   (b)   No minor who has attained the age of 12 but has not yet attained the age of 16 shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places, between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
   (c)   No person who has attained the age of 16 but has not attained the age of 18 years shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places, between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
   (d)   The provisions of this section do not apply to a person accompanied by his parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor involved, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
   (e)   No parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of 18 years shall knowingly permit such minor to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, alleys, parks, playgrounds or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement, recreation and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places contrary to the provisions of this section.

   (f)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Minors in violation of any of the provisions of this section shall be treated in accordance with Juvenile Court law and procedure.
