§ 32.21 MEETINGS.
   (A)   The City Commissioners for the City of Union, Kentucky shall henceforth meet on the first Monday of each calendar month at 6:00 p.m. at the Union City Building, located at 1843 Bristow Drive, Union, Boone County, Kentucky, or at such other time and place as is duly designated by notice to the public at large prior to the City Commission meeting with the following exceptions:
      (1)   Commissioners meeting for January, 2023 shall be held on the first Wednesday in January. 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
      (2)   Commissioners meeting for September, 2023 shall be held on the first Wednesday in September 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
   (B)   The City Commissioners shall also meet for a caucus meeting to be held on the third Monday of each month for the purpose of discussing Committee updates and to conduct in-depth discussions and information-gathering relative to important city issues. Ordinances may receive their first reading at caucus meetings, but voting on ordinances, municipal orders, resolutions and/or motions shall not be taken at caucus meetings unless the issue has been placed on the agenda of that meeting in advance. All meetings shall be held at the City Building located at 1843 Bristow Drive, Union, Kentucky, commencing at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time with the following exceptions:
      (1)   Caucus meeting for January, 2023 shall be held on the third Wednesday in January, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
      (2)   Caucus Meeting for February, 2023 shall be held on third Wednesday in February, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

   (C)   Special meetings may be called by the Mayor or a majority of the City Commissioners. In the call, the Mayor or City Commissioners shall designate the purpose, time, and place of the special meeting with sufficient notice for the attendance of Commission members and for compliance with KRS Chapter 61.
   (D)   At a special meeting no business may be considered other than that set forth in the designation of purpose.
   (E)   The minutes of every meeting shall be signed by the person responsible for maintaining city records as provided under § 31.36 and by the officer presiding at the meeting.
