(A) Time limit. No automobile, truck, trailer, or other vehicle shall remain parked in one parking space at any point within said Business District for a period of more than two continuous hours, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

(B) Signs; enforcement. The Village Marshal is hereby directed and instructed to procure and place, at conspicuous points within said Business District, signs giving notice to the public that parking for more than two hours is prohibited, within said District; and he or she shall see that this section is carried into effect and for that purpose shall cause vehicles parked within said District to be marked in such manner that it can be ascertained whether such vehicle remains in a parking space for a period of more than two hours, and where such vehicles are so parked for a period of more than two continuous hours, he or she shall cause the registration numbers of such vehicles to be taken, and also cause to be attached to such vehicles notice of the violation of this section; and he or she may request that the owner, or driver, thereof appear before a Justice of the Peace of competent jurisdiction, at a time and place designated on said notice, and answer a complaint for the violation of this section. On the failure of such owner or driver to appear at the time and place designated in said notice, the Village Marshal or police officer shall cause a formal warrant to be issued for the owner or driver of such vehicle, and shall proceed to prosecute the same in the manner provided by law.

(C) Effective date. This section will take effect 20 days after publication thereof.
