ORDINANCE NO. 90-5

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE

CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CIVIL CITY OF UNION CITY, INDIANA

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio had completed the 1990 S-1 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Civil City of Union City, Indiana, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general nature enacted since the 1989 Codification of the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and

   WHEREAS, said American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Indiana Code; and

   WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the 1990 S-l Supplement to the Code of Ordinances prepared by the American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and has made certain recommendations for revisions to the same; and

   WHEREAS, it is the intent of Council to accept these updated sections with the revisions proposed by the City Attorney in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana:

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Union City, State of Indiana:

   SECTION 1. That the 1990 S-l Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Civil City of Union City, Indiana, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, as attached to Ordinance No. 90-5 and marked as Exhibit "A" and the revisions proposed by the City Attorney as spelled out in Exhibit "B" be and the same are hereby adopted by reference as if set out in their entirety.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its passage.
