§ 90.12 DESTRUCTION OF BITING ANIMAL PROHIBITED.
   (A)    No person shall kill any dog or other animal suspected of having rabies, which has bitten a person or another animal, unless the destruction of such dog or animal is necessary for the protection of human or other animal life.
   (B)    The owner of a pet within the city shall not move, conceal, sell, give away, or otherwise dispose of any pet when he has knowledge that the pet has bitten or injured a person or animal. Said pet shall be confined until such time as it has been established that it is not suffering from rabies or any other infectious disease.
