All work for the reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal or demolition of buildings and other structures shall be performed in a manner according to the accepted standards and practices in the trade. The provisions of the rules and regulations pertaining to construction, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and one- and two-family dwellings, promulgated by the Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission and the rules and regulations pertaining to sanitation, promulgated by the Indiana State Department of Health, shall be considered standard and acceptable practices for all matters covered by this subchapter or orders pursuant to this subchapter by the Board of Public Works of Union City, Indiana.
