(A) Each owner of the private fire hydrant(s) shall pay an annual fire protection fee for hydrant rental/fire protection in accordance with the Water Rate Ordinance of the City of Union City.
(B) Each owner of the private fire hydrant(s) shall enter into a Fire Hydrant Flushing, Maintenance and Painting Agreement with the Union City Waterworks.
(C) Upon payment of the hydrant rental/fire protection fee and signing of the Fire Hydrant Flushing, Maintenance and Painting Agreement, the Union City Waterworks will provide periodic maintenance, flushing and replacement parts for any private fire hydrant in accordance with the agreement.
(D) In accordance with the Fire Hydrant Flushing, Maintenance and Painting Agreement, all expenses incurred while flushing, performing maintenance and/or painting will be the responsibility of the owner of the private fire hydrant(s).
