145.10 PURCHASE OF ENGINES AND EQUIPMENT.

The City Council may purchase the necessary fire engines and such other equipment for the Department of Fire as are necessary for the extinguishment of fires and the saving of lives, and may establish lines of fire alarm telegraph within the municipal limits of the City.
