(a) In the event of an emergency and upon the request of another fire agency by an authorized officer of that office on duty at the time of such emergency, the Department of Fire is hereby authorized to provide immediate assistance upon the authorization of an authorized officer of the Department of Fire on duty at the time that such request is made.
(b) Fire and EMS manpower and equipment may be recalled from such an emergency at the sole discretion of the highest ranking officer of the Department on duty at the time that such equipment and/or manpower is provided.
(c) The City Manager or his Designee is hereby authorized to execute agreements on behalf of the City for mutual aid, the terms and conditions of such an agreement shall be left to the discretion of the Fire Chief and the City Manager.
