Permit fees for wrecking of any building or structure shall be seven dollars ($7.00) for each 1,000 square feet or fraction thereof total floor area, if a building, or projected gross area if a structure, using outside dimensions. In computing total floor area, the floor areas of each story, except basement, shall be added together using outside dimensions. A separate permit shall be required for each separate building or structure. The minimum charge for any one wrecking permit shall be fifteen dollars and fifty cents ($15.50).
