(a) A person may peddle, solicit or conduct market research door to door, at dwelling houses or business at random, on sidewalks or streets, at public places, at private meeting places or in any other manner or place in the Municipality between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
(b) Any person acting on behalf of: any tax exempt organization existing, operated and qualified in accordance with the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States, or any candidate, political party or political or public cause or issue may peddle, solicit, canvass, or conduct market research door to door, at dwelling houses or business at random, on sidewalks or streets, at public places, at private meeting places or in any other manner or place in the Municipality between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
(c) If requested by the City Manager any person subject to Section 731.06(b) may be required to produce documentation to support their status claimed including but not limited to certification of registration with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
