§ 2.44.030 DUTIES OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE.
   Under the supervision of the City Manager, the Chief of Police shall have the following duties:
   (A)   Supervise all activities of the Department;
   (B)   Establish a set of rules and regulations governing the discipline, training, and operation of the Department, including the standard operating guidelines necessary to govern the discipline, training, and operation of the Division of Police services;
   (C)   Direct and manage dispatch services;
   (D)   Direct and manage the community contract jail;
   (E)   Direct and manage contract DMV services;
   (F)   Report department status and activities to the City Manager; and
   (G)   Perform other such duties as may be specified in this Code or by the City Manager.
