Vehicles used for transporting explosives or blasting agents shall be in good working condition and must meet the minimum standards of National Fire Protection Association Standard 495 section 5-2 “Transportation Vehicles.” Vehicles used to transport any amount of explosives or blasting agents must display all placards, lettering, or numbering required by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
