(A) Permanent service. All permanent structures or facilities requiring water service beyond an initial twelve (12) month period shall be required to be served by a permanent water service connection that is installed in or upon a permanent structure and maintained in accordance with City standards.
(B) Temporary service. Temporary water service connections that are installed and maintained in accordance with City standards shall be permitted to provide water service during the course of construction and other special circumstances for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months. One twelve (12) month extension may be approved by the City. At such time as the City determines that the water service shall be permanent, the applicable system development charge will be assessed as provided in the City's fee and rate ordinance.
