§ 9.12.220 PROCESSING CHAUFFEUR LICENSE APPLICATIONS.
   (A)   Upon receipt of a completed application for an initial or renewal of chauffeur's license, accompanied by the required fee, the Director of Public Safety shall determine if the applicant meets the qualifications. Upon determination of qualifications, within ten (10) business days, the application will be approved or denied by the Director of Public Safety. If the Director of Public Safety denies the application, the applicant will be notified within five (5) days of the decision. If the Director of Public Safety denies the application, the denial may be appealed according to the provisions of § 9.12.130.
   (B)   Applications for renewal of a chauffeur's license shall be submitted no later than sixty (60) days before expiration. A chauffeur's license shall not be renewed if the licensee no longer meets the criteria set forth in § 9.12.210.
