§ 2.08.030 ELECTION AND TERM OF MAYOR.
   (A)   No person shall hold the elective office of Mayor or be eligible to seek election thereto unless at the time of declaration of candidacy, the person is a qualified voter of the City who has resided within the City for a period of no less than twelve (12) consecutive months immediately prior to the time of submission of declaration of candidacy.
   (B)   The Mayor is elected at large for a term of three (3) years and until a successor is elected and has qualified.
   (C)   The regular term of the Mayor begins on the first Monday following certification of their election to office.
